Old Saint Patricks Cathedral Web Site

St. Patrick's Old Cathedral served as New York's first Cathedral during the infancy of this nation. The Cathedral is the first Roman Catholic church in America named for Ireland's Patron Saint. This is the site for great early Irish History within the New York City.

New York City Rescue Mission

The New York City Rescue Mission was founded in 1872 by Irishman Jeremiah McAuley as a way to help the homeless find food and shelter. The Mission not only shelters and feeds the homeless, it seeks to help in their restoration to a purposeful life.
